Is a higher Amp Charger quicker to charge a 12v battery?

Hi,
Could anyone tell me if using a car's 22amp charger would charge a 12v
10Ah lead acid battery any quicker than the 7-8 hours it takes using
the 12v 12A charger?

I'm trying to charge the 12v 10Ah battery hopefully within 4 hours
(I'm not too bothered about the life of the battery, as I'd be happy
if it lasted 3 months with the quicker charge)

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

A safe way to do it is the issue. A higher current will indeed charge the
battery in less time but an explosion is a possibility.

Those numbers don't make sense. A 10 ampere-hour battery should charge
in a bit under one hour at 12 amperes (perhaps slightly more due to
loss). Did you mean 100 Ah? If not, something is seriously wrong with
your setup.

Yes. That will fully charge it in approximately 2.5 hours.

one other thing you might want to factor into your assessment of my
capabilities, is that when i get home from screwing with computers all day
the last thing i want to do is screw with more computers. i'd rather brew
beer, fix bikes, hang out with friends, go outside, etc.
