ir2110 high side output gives a constant dc value instead of a square wave.

I am using ir2110 mosfet driver in my project. Its low side output is ok. It gives a square pulse. But its high side output is always high i.e a constant DC value instead of a square pulse. I changed my IC but its not the IC problem. I think there is a fault in my connections. what could be the fault?

How do you think we can make any reasonable guess without knowing what your circuit looks like? Upload a schematic diagram so we can check the circuit, please (there is an upload button in the menu bar on top of this editor box).
If we cannot find a fault with the theoretical circuit (schematic), the next step will be to check the real circuit to verify it really matches the schematic.

If using a standard bridge set up I turn on the bottom Mosfet and just switch the top one, you have to have a path to the power common rail.
