hi we need somebody to make us a cable which we can connect to the earphone jack of the iphone, than when a ton is played it should trigger a relay which we connect to a dry contact.
if you can do it with a transistor is also fine our relays are min 6v. Anybody who can do this for us would be great would pay for cables we need....thank you
If you can do it in any other way via the phone jack pls let us know....powHer is no issue...

Firstly, no, I'm not going to build you one, but that's beside the point.

Do you want the relay to close when a particular tone is present, or when any sound is present?

How are you powering this? The audio signal won't be powerful enough to operate a relay.

Provide a schematic,.. yes. Build it, ..no. Is this a constant tone? Does the relay have to latch? Are you certain that your 6V relays must be used?

In addition to the above question in regards to functionality, what is your 'build' budget or expected cost to have this made for you?

I'm fully capable of 'making' it for you but are you willing and capable of paying the going 'professional' rate for that service?
