Has anyone had luck getting a Statpower 1500w inverter repaired?
Pulled mine off the shelf, and blew eight fuses in it when I connected
it up; bought new fuses and did it again, with some smoke as well.
I'd get it repaired if I could do it for a reasonable price. I'd also
sell it for the cost of shipping if anyone wants to take a chance on
it.

What I thought. Then I read the manual. The manual claims that
reversal will only blow a fuse, and replacing said fuse will fix the
problem. I thought sure I'd reversed it, then I laid everything out
the way I had before and it wasn't reversed after all. Looks like
something in the power transistors, though, because they require work
to get to and nothing else appears burned.
