Interfacing usb web cam with uP

As usb web cam have already have digital I/Os instead of analogue ones. Do
you think it is possible? Does all usb web cams uses the same protocol?

It would be somewhat complicated, AFAIK - you'd need to implement a driver. Better
to use a computer to capture and store images.
