    Hi Guys Electronics Newb Here,

When it comes to theory I haven't done my homework so I have simple project here I was looking for help with. At work we have a time clock and the window that you look through to punch the card is very dim inside. I wanted to wire a LED on the circuit board but I was wondering where I should put it.

Im not bad with a soldering iron and have built some kit projects. I have a mulitimeter. I can post a pic of the board but I have no schematic. Can anyone help?

What kind of LED (voltage, current) are you ging to use? What voltages are present on the board to power the LED?

Have you read the the tutorial on LEDs?
