Very good and flexible panel. Depends on what you want to do.

They are great panels. I have installed a few dozen of them and prefer them
over many others due to the amount of options available.
What specific application do you want to use it for?

I was searching for an alternative to Ademco systems which seems to use
a 30 years older technology than Inner Range and many others. To be more
specific: I got really tired (and angry) setting up a Passpoint access
control working with a Vista gateway that's not able to manage
partitions' arming and disarming in a way that makes a sense to common
human users.

So I found around many alternatives integrating intrusion and access
control: the first was Aritech Advisor Master but someone told me that
this is a renamed device made by Tecom and Inner Range was better. The
only problem is that Aritech has many selling offices in Italy, Inner
Range has not. I was asking if Inner Range are enough better than
Aritech ones because I have to buy them in the UK.

I have also considered to try access control functions integrated in the
Ademco-Microtech Galaxy control panel, but they're really expensive. Has
someone alredy tried it? I have installed a Galaxy panel and I find it a
very good product.

I have installed many Tecoms as well as Concept panels. Both panels compete
for the same market and are very good panels, but in different ways with
different options. I find the Inner Range is better suited if you are
using access control, but is a bit trickier to set up - only because it has
more options.

Some installers prefer the Tecom because it comes with a default program out
of the box, rather than the Concept, wich leaves everything up to the
installer.

You will not appreciate all the differences until you have installed a few
of each type, I guess.

I am getting curious more and more about Inner Range, I think I'll try it.

Any experience with Microtech Galaxy? (previous called Starlight)

Let me know how you make out with Inner Range. Their products look very
interesting, and I'm curious to know the structure and pricing. I use DMP
here in the US, and do mostly Integrated Systems. I'm curious to know the
disadvantages of Inner Range. (besides it not being available in the US).
Let me know your conclusions.

You'll only get good feedback from anyone using Inner range panels.
Try them out and judging by some of the replies, Im sure we'll all help with
any questions you may have.

They do seem a bit tricky at first to program, but they are only limited by
the imagination.
