    Hi,

I'm looking for an infrared LED for a Generation 1 Night Vision device. The wavelength is important, it must be at about 805 nanometer, size: 5mm.

Does anyone know where I can buy an LED like that?

I've searched the internet but no results. Everything I've seen starts at 850nm and it doesn't work.

    Thanks.

Did you Google? A simple Google search popped a few options on the first page from bare LEDs to IR illuminators aka flashlights...

Yes I did, with these keywords: ''infrared led''. A lot of bare LED's at 850 and 940nm, from what I saw. I emailed some dealers, they don't have the IR wavelength I'm looking for. In this link, we can see the model I want, www.sparkfun.com/products/9349

I googled for "Infrared LED 805nM" and got quite a number of hits.
