    it has labels as follows

    2n
    c4235

    and its not the 2n4235, it is in TO220-like package but wider, I got
    it from old mono PC monitor, any idea abou parameters or counterparter
    thanx

  2. Hi,

    It is probably a -

    2SC4235 (Si, NPN)
    ----------------
    Vcbo(max) = 1200V
    Vceo(max) = 800V
    Ic(max) = 3A
    Ptot(max) = 80W
    Tj(max) = 150C
    Icbo = <100uA @ Vcbo(max)
    HFE(min) = 8 @ Ic = 1.5A/Vcb = 5V
    fT = 8MHz
    Lead-out = BCE (Collector isolated)

    Cheers - Joe

    ok thanks for then param info,
    anybody knows good replacement for it from popular transistors?

  4. original data sheet:
    http://semi.shindengen.co.jp/en/2sc4235.pdf

    If the 2SC4235 is used as horizontal output transistor in a TV-set
    BU2525A or maybe BU508A should work fine.

    Regards,
    Dieter
