Indentifying SMD component

Hi. I was rebuilding a board from a Asus netbook to use as a router, but broke a small SMD component of near the power connector. I think I might be a rectifier or a zener diode, as it's black and seems bipolar, but I have no idea of what the text means, and google is unable to help. The board, btw, won't boot without it.

Looks like a diode yes. I'll have a look and see if I can help

Could it be a 4148 by comchip?. I am using my tablet so a bit restricted.
