I set up a network DVR that can be viewed over the internet using the DVR
software. Is their any security image capture software I can set up to
monitor motion in specific areas of the screen on the computer? Video loss
    ? Thank you in advance

usually that is built in to the dvr, unless you got a real cheap one.

I want to stream activity from the network DVR to a remote location, and get
alerted at the remote when theirs movement in a fenced in area of the
property other than an email from the DVR,

4 IR cameras on a medium speed Dsl line. I'm thinking that the AXIS 4
channel video server may be the way to go. I could have onsite recording
through the DVR, and direct web access to the cameras even through a cell
phone, PDA or other computer without any special software requirements. They
have camera station software for their equipment. I don't know how good a
system this is but it's within budget range. Thank you for your suggestions,
    and help
