Hi all,
i have a problem with an old crt monitor, a Philips Brilliance 107A
(17A8808Q chassis cm 8800). I reproduced the problem with photoshop as you
can see here http://img154.imageshack.us/my.php?image=damiy8.jpg.
Can you help me? My technician hasn't the schematics for this monitor :(
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english :D

That looks like a convergence fault. This can be caused by any number or one
part in the convergence control area, and or in the scan drive area. To
troubleshoot for this type of fault, the tech will require the service
manual, and have to spend a fair amount of time on the unit.

I think you should consider retiring the monitor, and getting a good LCD
panel.
