IF Frequency/Spurious Signal Analysis

Hello,

I am in the process of designing a general coverage shortwave receiver and am
interested in conducting a spurious signal analysis.

I would appreciate any input regarding a systematic procedure for doing the
analysis and selecting an appropriate IF frequency.

Assuming HF to 30 MHz... Upconvert to first IF of 45MHz, 2nd 10.7 and 3rd
455 using std compontnets and use bandpass filters. No need for
calculations!
