hello everyone help me to identify this zener diode RD5.1ESB2, i use 1k range of ohmmeter to test the diode i put the positive probe to the cathode then the negative on the anode they have reading in low resistance. when i reverse they reading also at 100k ohms, this good or bad.. HELP.........

Google "Testing Zener Diode" there are plenty of step by step instructions...

In addition to that, googling 1ESB2 will get you a heap of links that will tell you what to expect (hint 5.1V)

Get a 9V battery and a 470 ohm resistor. Put all three in series (them and the zener) and measure the voltage across the zener. Reverse the zener and measure it again.

One way should be around 0.6V, the other around 5V
