Could be 2SD882
(manufacturered by Fairchildsemi, NEC, etc.)
2SD882, is a standard Japanese transistor nomenclature. NPN bipolar, legs
organised as 'E, C, B' reading from left to right. Vcbo 40v, Vceo 30v, Ic
3A, Ft 90MHz, Hfe 160. Any data book from about 10 years ago, should list
it.
