I would like to know what these are. I got them from a power supply pcb out of a laser printer. The silk screen label said VZxxxx.

Despite the VZ designation, they look like 27pF ceramic capacitors to me.

except there's a much higher chance they are a varistor of some sort

why do you want to replace them .... that is, why do you think they are faulty ?

have you measured them with a multimeter on resistance range ?

VZxxxx isn't much help. They look like small-valued capacitors, but could also be MOV varistors used for surge protection. Most varistors I have seen have the leads welded to opposite sides of the disk though, so your guess is as good as mine without electrical testing.
