Is there an IC circuit I could use as a tank circuit? It is possible
to make resonnant circuit using resistors, and capacitors alone, so I
wonder if there is an IC chip I could wire somehow to make a tank
    circuit...?

There is a way to use an op-amp and some caps and resistors to
fake an inductor, but the operating frequency is kinda low and
it's somewhat noisy for RF work. I don't know the particulars,
think it's called "gryator" or such. If you're doing RF
work, you'd be better off with real inductors. At high frequencies
    they're smaller anyway.
