I'm searching a I2C or SPI LCD. Could you help me where I can find
documents about I2C-SPI LCD? Which companies produce these?

    Thanks...

I recently ordered a bunch of 2x16 (backlight) LCD modules from
    www.farnell.co.uk - at 12 pounds each.

The product specs say they can be controlled via parallel or serial.

I have not received them yet, so i can be 100%, but this could be what
    your after.

    part# : 3167689

OR there are the more expensive serial lcd modules from parallax, i
    think at about $50 each.

    Alex.

A regular old parallel lcd can be converted to spi with an 8 bit shift reg like
an hc595. Technological Arts sells one.
