So far I have not read much into the latest of Apples inventions - the i-Pad.

I have been thinking lately about buying one however having not yet had the pleasure of even touching one i was wondering what everyone elses thorts on them were??

This years best bit of new tech or a jumped up touch??

There's a new iPad being announced today, so hold on to your wallet until more details are released about the iPad 2 :). It could be that the original iPad comes down in price.

I've had a go of one a really liked it, and I did think about getting one... however I couldn't justify the cost at the moment. In 18 months or so, I can imagine picking up a tablet of some sort (perhaps one of the new Anroid tablets like the Motorola Xoom).

If you pop in to an Apple Shop (or Currys, CarphoneWarehouse, PC World, etc...) then they should have plenty out on display for you to try.
