i need assistance with LEDs

Hi i bought this kit

Can i make them react to sound, if i can how?

This quite a complex project to make it work properly. Have a look at the link below it might give you some ideas. If you want to make something yourself then I would be looking at some kind of filter to allow say bass frequencies through and a transistor amplifier or switch depending if you use a microphone or direct connection. You would then need a power transistor to switch the control unit on and off. I don't know this unit and there might be issues with switching it on and off quickly.

The controller you linked to probably has a sound reactive mode of some kind built in. You'd have to contact the seller to be sure since it's not mentioned.
