All i can find is drab looking ones with no sex appeal. MY wife wont
let me put one of those on display. Would like a VFD and volume if
possoble. Silverstone comes close, but no pink cigar.

A PC in the living room ?

Look for those sleek compact low profile cases that'll take a micro-ATX
motherboard and not need a fan either.

Shuttle come to mind but there are also some cases that could pass for a
hi-fi unit.

Yup. I have access to some fanless designs. You can also get some
pretty quiet fans nowdays. My current lifestyle unit has a fan.

Yup. Windows Media Edition. Will play DVD's, MP3, JPG CD, TV, HDTV,
AM, FM, Record TV plus I can even listen to streaming audio if I am
real desperate (good for sport).

Go visit HTPCnews.com IMO this is the definitive source for all things
HTPC. You'll find tons of case options in, forum threads, reviews,
pictures, etc...

I purchased my case from www.digitalconnection.com. However, I noticed
they dumped off a lot of custom case makers lately in favor of the
generic silverstone stuff.

www.newegg.com is starting to expand their selection quite a bit.
Check them out.

You can do all those things until Microsoft decides you're not allowed
to, anyway.
