Hello I received an old Bose. I need to know what kind of antenna plug goes in it appears to screw on. I am going to order a power plug and want to get the antenna also. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.20151125_090509_resized(1).jpg

It looks like an F-type female connector, does it have an outer thread ?
It can be connected to the wall FM antenna if there is one in the home,
or use a 75 ohm unbalanced F-type indoors antenna.
Note:
A short (about 30cm) "electric rigid wire " could do the job if you live in a place with good station coverage- worth a try before you spend money

Same old FM reception issues with my Bose AWR1-1W too, but have since found good input, I'd like to follow up on: The power cord on these units also serves as antenna, the external 75 ohm antenna (not supplied w unit) works signicantly better - HOWEVER, using both will likely mess up reception as using 2 antennae often will with FM. The recommendation is to go with the inexpensive external with and Disconnect the antenna function on the power cord. Such a tuner modification seems worth following up on to me. The above info was relayed by a thorough Colorado Springs electronics outfit.
