I have a Bose Lifestyle 28 that one of the speakers in the Acoustimass module has blown and I need to replace it. How to you open the front of the Acoustimass module to replace the speaker.

Bose has good customer support, give them a call, they'll probably take care of it for you. Unless it's really old and out of warranty.

Is it the bass module or one of the satellites? I think the grills pop off on the satellites and you can get the speaker out that way. Don't know where you can find replacements though; Bose tends to use their own proprietary drivers.

    Here's a disassembly video I found:

It is an old one Bose 28 Lifestyle. I pop off the front cover and you can see the two woofers but there is a bar in front of the woofers. The woofers are keep in place with 4 screws and you can remove the screws but can not remove the woofers because of the bar in place. It look like Bose have the bar cover put in with some strong glue.

Maybe pry the bar off? Is it wood or metal? Can you post a pic?
