Bought a second hand HP Jornada 680 online. Thing just freezes after
calibrating the touch screen. HP's Customer Service says they'll
charge $250+ to replace it. Is there any chance that I can undertake
repair myself or even send it in somewhere who would fix it (not HP)?
I've talked to their technical support, they couldnt help fix it - I
tried everything they recommended. They suggested that I get it
replaced. Customer service suggested I throw it away (or throw away
the $250) ...
Is this a common problem to PDAs - anyone have success in fixing this
kind of problem on a similar model?
