How would you handle this?

A commercial bank is acquiring two existing banks. They want to
install security on the main vault & night deposit chest only. Both
banks are in very, very, small communities, without local police,
having only the county sheriff department available to them. Without
security in the rest of the building, the phone lines, and other
aspects of the system are totally vulnerable to attact. The bank
won't budge in their position of vault only protection. How would you
handle this?

Ask the bank to provide a letter from their insurance carrier on what the
carrier deems as an acceptable level of protection for EACH facility. Then
include a rider in your proposal outlining the carrier's requests. After
all, it is the carrier that will pay if anything should happen. You might
want to have an attorney or legal aide take a look at your liability clause
in your present contract.

Cover your ass... :)

Or better yet, walk away from this situation. Why take on something that you
probably don't need, probably shouldn't take a chance on, and likely could
cause you significant grief....all for what ?

Pick your customers !!

Decline the job. You've got enough work that you don't need this account.

I agree. Make sure you email Bass with the bank's name and address,
sounds like a good DIY'er project.
