    Hello Guys,

Someone please tell me, is it possible to supply external voltage to USB port
and detect this through an application running on the system. or else convert
externally supplied voltage to data and input it to USB so that running application
    would detect it.

    Please tell me asap........

you need to use an A to D converter and have the appropdiate software to read that data.

there are a number of systems available
google USB oscilloscope, USB ADC etc

Is 1-bit ADC sufficient for that?

Please tell me if 1-bit ADC is sufficient for this. Also give me the circuit diagram for that,
Also the device I have to create should output 1 only if Voltage is 5 V other than output 0.
