It's almost OK now ! just need to rotate the BC548 180°(the C and the E are swapped).

ok, i've turn the BC548 around now, but the speaker is always on.
touching the switch wires together seems to turn it off momentarily.

I followed a datasheet for the BC547 when i set up the circuit i guess the 548 is opposite, oops.

That' s cool! As it' s work the wrong way just move the base resistor from 7 to pin 6.

Yeah, although I'd better not tell too many people at the lake or they'll all want me to make it for them.
