Hi Everyone,

I run a coffee company and I have just used a RaspberryPi to create a product that tracks the usage of our customer's coffee and reports the supply back to us.

The device uses the following components.

-A Raspberry Pi A+
-A Wifi Adapter
-A Sound Sensor
-Python Script
-A PHP Database
-Linux OS

So basically, what I want to know is, how would I get this made so that it's not actually running off a RaspberryPi. What do I Do to make this it's own product?

I'm totally clueless so please keep the answers as basic as possible. :)

How many units are you talking about?

Custom manufacturing is not cost effective until you meet some large quantity. I suspect you would need to make at least 1000's before you could do it cheaper than a Rasp Pi. But I am no expert on this.

Probably only 100 units to start. So maybe you're right.
