I have PCBs that I need to test by placing the PCBs test points on pogo pins. But before I run the test, I want to know that all connections had been made. How can this be done?

initially you would need a test jig ( that has the spring contacts) that the board fits into snuggly ( semi tight) so that it automatically lines up the pins with the testpoint pads on the PCB

    so ...
    1) the jig is a semi tight fit so the PCB cannot move back and forward
    2) you could also use a couple of screw mounts to screw the board down
this provides vertical stability so the PCB contact pads sit down against the test pins
