I have a great idea on building a wireless receiver for these 433mhz PIR sensors. All these different china brand alarm systems can use the same PIR with almost any of their key panels which are mostly GSM. What i would like to do is build a simple receiver if possible to pick up the signals when they trigger and send through RS232 to an open source mobile app i have. Any help on where to start like the basics of what is required to receive and decode the signal. I am going to write down the numbers of the chips and google what they are and what they do inside the PIR so i would imagine i need some of the same parts on the other end. Hopefully these are pretty simple devices since you can purchase the wireless door contacts for only 3~4 bucks on ebay.... I can post picture of the circuit board if needed.
