There is clock and date in LCD how it get updated with li cmos battery?

I have listen in class that power line use transmission line as communication between.
so,i was think all meter are connected like this?

The battery only supplies power to the electronics. It doesn't provide a clock for timing etc.

That's one possibility. There are lots of similar chips. The clock could be part of the measurement chip. too.

Here also this describes just one possibility. Not all meters need to be connected liek, this. There are other ways, too, e.g. wireless communication...

So, the meter is only powered itself from source 220V AC single phase.
How it calculate power energy, there is 3200imp/kw something like this
