How do you test a 3-Legged Diode (Rectifier)?

So, I ran across these diodes in a Kicker KX3004 amplifier. They're labeled D12 and D13 on the circuit board, otherwise I would've had them pegged as transistors. Anyways, how can I tell if they're any good? Does the AKA/KAK indicate how they operate, similar to transistor labeling? Any information would be appreciated.

These are usually a fast diode.
Two in the one pack in fact.
Yes, aka(anode kathode anode),kak (kathode anode kathode /or cathode)indicates polarity with the centre pin common to both diodes.
Test as a regular diode.
For info diagram google u1620 and u1620R
