how can i get electronic project Ideas

Hi people,
I have two years left to finish my graduate school and i want to know
what field i should go into. Maybe communications or power
engineering. If any is chosen, please would anyone suggest an ideal
project topic.

Hi Gerry,

Power looks good since many of these jobs are not outsourceable. Comm
jobs are unless it is local work.

In power I'd probably pick a project involving solar generation if it
was my choice. This stuff just got another jolt of public attention in
California. The US is lagging here and we need to catch up quickly.

Do want you love/enjoy. If you don't know what you enjoy, get
exposure to the real thing to decide (e.g. internships/jobs in
communications or power engineering, research job market and
companies, or if possible, get a new hobby). Worst case, consider the
possibility you chosen the wrong field.

Answering the above will also usually answer the project topic
question. "Ideal" means what? Ideal grade? Ideal fun? Ideal career
preparation? Dunno.
