    There are two Hoover washing machines in this house. One always turns the
    pockets of my shorts inside-out and the other never does.
    Why? How?

  2. Different agitation?

    I was thinking maybe Mum uses the second machine and turns the pockets
    inside-out for him.

    Sounds like the washing machine is pointing north-south.
    You need to make sure all your washing machines are pointing east-west.

    I never knew that.

  6. Your wife operates the one that turns out the pockets ??

    One of them must be a northern hemisphere model.

    @yahoo.com> says...
    Is one of them a shredomatic?

    At last a worthy research topic so I can do my Ph D.

  10. One Hoover machine I owned had a knack of removing money out of my pockets
    straight into the hands of repairmen with just about every load of washing
    that went into it. That's however another story.....

    Cheers,
    Alan
