    Hello everyone,
I'm making HV diode rectifier, but i'm from Serbia and in our town we don't have electrical shops, and we don't have diodes on the internet,my question is how do i can make my HV diode with household items?

    Hi pidja,
The easiest way is to scavenge thrown out (broken) electronic items.
What do you call high voltage?
May be some car (auto) spares would better suit your needs..

If you have access to old monochrome or color vacuum tube televisions, there are HV vacuum tube diodes in the CRT anode power supply. If you have access to more modern color televisions, there are solid-state HV diodes in the CRT anode power supply. It is virtually impossible to make an HV diode with household items.
