Wondering if anyone would perhaps assist me in the diagnosis and repair of a
power problem with my Hitachi television. The front panel power switch makes
an electronic clicking sound but the screen does not come on. The problem
started as intermittent and now it will not power on at all. Thank you in
    advance.

  2. Hmmm, let me consult one of the psychic forums to see if I can determine the
model number, any diagnostics that you have performed, and your level of
knowledge of repairs, then I'll get back to you. My own psychic abilities
have failed me on this one.

Your question is too general. You would have to indicate model number and
the basics, such as the voltages on all the power supply outputs, the
performance of the scan circuits, and the basic characteristics of what is
    happening in the critical areas.

If not, you will need a psychic rather than an engineer.
