The world's largest manufacturer of heavy construction and earthmoving
equipment seeks a high power electronics hardware engineer with solid
power inverter experience for an opening in Mossville, IL.
An advanced power sources team currently has an opening for an Engineer
to focus on fuel cells and other alternative power source systems. The
engineer will research and fully understand current and future system
technologies, market needs, assess system performance in field
demonstration sites, implement system improvements as required, and
assess systems for commercialization. This position will play an
important role in shaping and executing an Advanced Power Sources
strategy, by helping to capture voice of the customer and voice of the
business, interfacing with external and internal resources, and
acquiring & testing systems to determine the best technologies to
pursue and implement in support of enterprise goals. Some travel may be
required.
Required:
· BS / MS Electrical Engineering
· 4 years experience in power inverter and/or power generation
technologies
· Effective communication, project management, and excellent
interpersonal skills.
· Field follow / problem solving experience
Desired:
· Industry and commercial customer/dealer experience.
· Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated understanding of and
desire to work with alternative and renewable energy technologies
· 6 Sigma black belt is a plus.
