Hi I'm a web developer looking to get dirty

Hi community. I'm a frontend developer and interface designer from southern california. I'm starting to get into circuits and electronics. I've been watching some videos on YouTube and think I have the basics down.

Yesterday I bought an Arduino microcontroller, breadboard wire and some LEDs. I'm about to get my hands dirty and i'm sure i'll have lots of questions for the community.
