I don't know much about electrical circuits beyond Ohm's law, but I have a
project that I would like to solve.

Attached is a schematic involving two circuits and a power transistor.
    Basically, circuit "A" is an off-on circuit operating at 12V @ 2 amps. I
would like it to switch circuit "B" off-on which is operating 12V @ 8 amps.
What I need to know is where to connect the + & - terminals of circuits "A"
& "B" to what terminals (B,C, E) on the transistor.

    Thanks, in advance.

  2. This group does not support attachments you yours is lost. Go to
    alt.binaries.schematics.electronic
if you want to attach something. Sci.electronics newsgroups often refer to
that group where they place schematics or pictures.

have considered that all logic IC are positive voltage therefore the choice is NPN [NOT EASIER TO MAKE INDEED]
