    hello , i'm new here and i'm planning to make a electronic drum ... i saw amoung the web this little circuit and i want to know if this would work well ,,,

    the intention is connect a piezo signal to a digital microcontroller but i don't know if this will work ... can somebody help me ?

    What is R2 connected to? And for what purpose?

    What does the piezo trigger waveform look like?
