Hi, Newbie to the forum here, Just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on the possibilities of using a battery pack to make a device portable?

The device is a TBS Q-box S2 satellite usb reciever unit with the input of 85-265vac 0.2A
Output DC 7.5v 2A

My questions are: Is it possible to buy a 7.5v 2A battery pack and run the device safely?

Could I use a lithium battery back etc?

Will i get more than an hours worth of time?

If yes could someone reccomend me the correct route to go?

Many Thanks for reading

I'm trying to imagine a practical reason to use a battery pack.

Are you planning a hiking trip in which you'll take a computer, the Q-box and a satellite dish?

If you're taking a vehicle, wouldn't it be easier to use an inverter and plug in the adapter to the inverter?

That said, I'd imagine 7.5V DC is the same no matter how you supply it.
