Hi, anybody has an idea about how to get a signal in a 1970's TV, using only broadcast television? This is one of those TV's with only an old antenna plug, nothing else. It has both UHF and VHF sync buttons. I've tried with a decoder, i.e, antenna signal into decoder and decoder into TV, but no success. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I do not know where you are, but here in Canada broadcast TV is all high definition digital now, an old TV will not work without a converter.

Yeah. In the US the over-the-air broadcast signals are now all digital (used to be analog).
We need an 'RF Converter' to run the new digital signal into the old analog televisions.
You might check and see what you've got, the RF Converters here are pretty cheap.
I know you're using some kind of 'decoder' box, but what that probably is, is another digital signal, which
your old analog input television can't display.
RF Converter takes the digital signal and converts it to analog for display on the old television sets.
