Hi I need a little help with a project Im working on.

I will have 9 LED's. They will be arrange in 3 rows of 3 stacked on top of each other. I need to be able to program the lights to start from the center led and switch randomly or pre-programmed to the surrounding lights. I need to be able to adjust the length of time that the lights stays in one place before returning to center.

If anyone has an idea of where I may find a module to hook the led's to, and where I may find the software to program them it would be great.

I'm sort of a newbie at this so any help would really be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Have a look at the ARDUINO. This may be a good platform to start with.
Although you will have tor write the program for your specific application yourself. Nut the arduino is meant to be a rather easy platform.
