Hey everyone.

My grandparent's toaster oven's thera cutoff engaged and the device is not working.

After inspection it was an Inter Control 120V/15A 206 Celcius final temperature thermal cutoff.

The modern equivalent of the fuse has this model number: 155431.006D02. I can't find the same product in North America so I was wondering how to know if another fuse is appropriate.

Most of the fuse I see on amazon/digi-key are all rated for 250V and 10A but I don't know how to scale that down to 120V and see if the cutout amps will be 15.

How do I go about choosing an equivalent or almost thermal cutoff and if someone knows the calculafions for the design and selection of fuses I would like to know.

Thanks!

That will be absolutely fine on 120V. Obviously not the other way round though!

Thank you for your reply.

So I will probably order some equivalent type of thermal cutoff rated for 205 Celcius, 250V and 10A from Aliexpress!

That's looks fine. The 1 degree c wont hamper anything.
Don't solder it, the heat will blow it again. It should be crimped.
You could try long nose pliers at each end to dissipate heat if you NEED to solder it.
