    Hi Guys,

This is my first post and I am by no means an electrical specialist. I have a large 8kg DC motor (180W which draws 8A continuous) and I have made a 24V electric car for my daughter which I want to be able to control wirelessly. This may be a bit ambitious as I purchased an LED light controller which i hoped could control the speed ( It did work.........................for about 1 minute until I fried it.

Has anyone had any success using LED controllers for wirelessly controlling motors and would I have any more luck with this LED controller?
