Help identify this plug/socket

Hi again good people,

I have some slo-syn stepper motors with an 8-pin connector on the end.

I need to buy three female plugs preferably with solder connections on
the back end to use them. I'll be happy with IDC types though.

The connector opening is 0.8" x 0.2" and has a 0.030" key slot down
the center of one of the long sides for polarizing.

It is single line 0.1" pitch with the 0.024" square pins offset
slightly towards the long side with the key slot. The outside of the
connector labels the pins "A" through "H"

I have checked the Mouser catalog but can't find anything and the
digikey website has more options than a dog has fleas. After 10
minutes of trying filters on digikey I decided to throw myself on the
mercy of this group.

Anyone care to offer some suggestions on what and where?

Thanks in advance.

That looks like an ordinary 0.1" inline connector with "wire wrap"
pins. (A photo would have been helpful)

Don't forget to order the contacts seperately. The stepper might
require some high peak currents. Therefore, I recommend the
intermediate or high pressure contacts.

No mercy available. Get the catalog. There's no way you can
effectively search by application on the Digikey web pile. A picture
in the huge printed catalog gets me there much faster.

Thanks Jeff,

It's not the exact thing but I suspect it will do. Those do not have
the polarizing key that I can see. I'd like it if possible so this
plug can't go in the wrong way. However beggars can't be choosers.
They have that one in the Mouser catalog too.

I would probably agree but *^*%#@#^ digikey keep sending me the
"short form catalog" Guess I have to order millions a year before I
can get the real thing.

I get the 1226 page catalog about once a year. The short form catalog
arrives about twice a year. I don't generate huge orders. If I don't
get mine, it usually means that someone else in the office has
"borrowed" it.
