Hello, I am currently training to be qualified sparky however I work at a data company that rarely do electric. Is it worth carrying on for another 3 years to be qualified without any experience and will I be able to find work with a sparks company after I am qualified (without any experience?

Reply asap if you have any knowledge of my situation

I see you are in UK. Don't they have formal apprenticeship's there now for the trades?
Back when I took mine I served a 6yr apprenticeship under qualified tradesmen, with one day release a week for Technical college.
It is very hard to obtain valid training without the practical experience.
Mine fortunately also included motor rewinding.
I went on to Industrial Electronics.
This is one issue that I saw in N.A. when I came here that there was not a really good apprenticeship program compared to the UK at that time.
Unfortunately I believe the current malaise is a question of (false) economics by employers.

What M said x 2. In Aus absolutely no chance of getting apprentiship approved without many checks and balances on experience.
