Hello eerob,
Thank you for allowing me to join this wonderful group. I have just read through mrmodify's repair procedure for his HeathKit IP-20 Regulated Power Supply with great help from the forum members, I am stimulated to repair mine. I picked my IP-20 up many years ago from a tender centre here In Rockhampton, Qld, Australia.
So having read and absorbed all that took place with mrmodify's unit, I will do some investigating and report back with my results. Thank you providing the cct diagram (which I had downloaded many years ago but couldn't find) along with the repair/assembly manual.
A retired Service Engineer working on all manner of Electro mechanical equipment during my career. Recently installed a Solar System on my shed roof, connected to twin charge controllers and 4 AGM batteries to a 3KW inverter to power my garage, With a clean room that is full of PC's, Audio and HiFi gear that needs to be brought back to life. So thanks for all your future help. regards Paul
