Hello, I have a pair of headphones which made a short in the plug and my left channel didn't work. I purchased a plug to repair them, but after I cut off the old plug and stripped the wire the right channel which was working before didn't work. So, I currently have the left channel working but the right one doesn't get any signal. I got sound for a second or so but after that I haven't got anything.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey George! Welcome to Electronics Point! :)

Sounds like a bad connection, try wiggling the wires a little bit and see if the right channel turns on and off. If not (or if so!) show us a sharp will lit photo of your wiring.
