I've been attempting to make a bluetooth speaker, and right now I am having one main issue: what do I wire the pins of the HC-05 in relation to my amp board and R/L speakers. I also have a Bluetooth Audio Receiver coming in the mail but I would like to make do with my HC-05. Any help is appreciated.

Nothing - the HC05 has no analogue input or output ports. You need the BT audio receiver to decode the BT signal (digital) and convert it to audio which you can THEN apply to the amplifier module.

That's odd. I was looking at this instructable and they don't seem to use anything like that.
Edit: Also to be noted the bluetooth audio receiver has a built-in amp.

The article shows the Bluetooth module to be a 'stereo bluetooth' device - the HC-05 isn't such a beast.
